In the 26th match of IPL 2025, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Gujarat Titans by six wickets in a high-intensity clash at Ekana Stadium. Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted 180/6, powered by a solid 120-run opening partnership between Shubman Gill (60) and B Sai Sudharsan (56). However, LSG’s bowlers, especially Ravi Bishnoi (2-36) and Shardul Thakur (2-24), pulled things back in the later overs.
Chasing 181, LSG got off to a flying start with Aiden Markram smashing 58 off 31 balls and Rishabh Pant contributing a quick 21. Nicholas Pooran then took charge with a blistering unbeaten 61 off 34 balls, including seven massive sixes, leading LSG to victory with three balls to spare. This win pushed LSG to third place on the points table and ended GT’s four-match winning streak.
