Pakistan Women wrapped up their ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier campaign in style, defeating Bangladesh Women by 7 wickets in their final group match.

Bangladesh Innings: Batting first, Bangladesh posted 178/9 in their 50 overs. Ritu Moni top-scored with a gritty 48 off 76 balls, while Fahima Khatun added an unbeaten 44 off 73. Earlier, Sharmin Akhter contributed 24. Despite a steady start, Pakistan’s bowlers struck regularly to restrict the scoring.

Sadia Iqbal was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for 26 runs. Fatima Sana and Diana Baig supported well with 2 wickets each, while Rameen Shamim and Nashra Sandhu took one apiece.

Pakistan Innings: In reply, Pakistan chased down the target in 39.4 overs, scoring 181/3. Muneeba Ali led the chase with a fine 69 off 93 deliveries. She was well-supported by Sidra Amin (33) and Aliya Riaz, who remained unbeaten on 52. Natalia Pervaiz also chipped in with a valuable 13* to see Pakistan home comfortably.

For Bangladesh, Nahida Akter, Rabeya Khan, and Marufa Akter picked up one wicket each.
