Quetta Gladiators posted 178/7 in their 20 overs against Peshawar Zalmi in the 17th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium. The Gladiators had a solid start with their openers Finn Allen and Saud Shakeel adding a quick 46 runs.
Finn Allen was aggressive, scoring 31 off 16 balls with four fours and two sixes before being dismissed by Alzarri Joseph. Saud Shakeel then built another partnership with Rilee Rossouw, adding 45 runs before both batters were removed by Saim Ayub in successive overs, leaving Quetta at 105/3 in 11.2 overs.
Saud Shakeel scored 32 off 26 balls while Rossouw contributed 27 off 18. Kusal Mendis and Mark Chapman stabilized the innings with a 39-run stand, but Alzarri Joseph struck again, removing Mendis for 32. Chapman top-scored with 33 runs off 26 deliveries.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Alzarri Joseph was the standout bowler with figures of 3/33 in four overs, Saim Ayub claimed two wickets, and Luke Wood picked up one wicket. Peshawar Zalmi now need 179 runs to win the match.
