In the 20th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Karachi Kings delivered a dominant batting performance against Multan Sultans, posting an impressive total of 204/4 in their allotted 20 overs at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Karachi’s innings was powered by a solid unbeaten 65 off 45 balls from James Vince, who anchored the middle order with calculated strokeplay. Captain David Warner provided early momentum with a blistering 30 off just 13 balls, striking at a phenomenal rate of 230.76.
Irfan Khan also made a crucial contribution with 40 runs off 33 balls, while Khushdil Shah exploded in the death overs, remaining unbeaten on 33 from just 13 deliveries with a staggering strike rate of 253.84. Tim Seifert chipped in with 22 off 11 at the top of the order.
Multan Sultans’ bowling attack struggled to contain the flow of runs, with David Willey picking up 2 wickets for 24 runs. Ubaid Shah and Curtis Campher took one wicket each but conceded heavily under pressure.
With a strong total on the board, Karachi Kings have set a challenging 205-run target for Multan Sultans to chase. The pressure now shifts to the Sultans’ batting lineup in what promises to be an exciting second innings.
