Islamabad United registered a commanding win against Peshawar Zalmi by 102 runs in the 5th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, played on April 14, 2025, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Islamabad United posted a mammoth total of 243/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to a spectacular century by Sahibzada Farhan, who smashed 106 off 52 balls, including 13 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 203.84.
Colin Munro contributed 40 off 27 balls, while cameos from Salman Agha (30 off 15), Jason Holder (20* off 11), and Ben Dwarshuis (18* off 6) powered United to their highest score of the season.
In reply, Peshawar Zalmi were bowled out for just 141 in 18.2 overs, falling short by a massive 102 runs. Despite Mohammad Haris’s valiant knock of 87 off 47 balls, Zalmi crumbled under pressure. None of the other batters managed to cross 15 runs. Islamabad’s bowlers shared the wickets, with Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan taking 3 and 2 wickets respectively, while Ben Dwarshuis and Saad Masood picked up crucial wickets to wrap up the innings.
