Lahore Qalandars Thrash Karachi Kings by 65 Runs

Lahore Qalandars put on a dominant display in PSL 10, defeating Karachi Kings by 65 runs at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

Batting first after winning the toss, Lahore posted a commanding total of 201/6 in their 20 overs. The innings was powered by sensational knocks from Fakhar Zaman (75) and Daryl Mitchell (76). Sam Billings contributed 19, while the rest of the top order chipped in with smaller scores. Karachi’s Hasan Ali was the standout bowler with 4 wickets, supported by Abbas Afridi who took one.

In response, Karachi Kings faltered early and never truly recovered. They were bowled out for 136 in 19.1 overs. Khushdil Shah top-scored with 39, and Hasan Ali added a quick 27, but the rest of the batting order collapsed. David Warner and James Vince were both dismissed for ducks.

Lahore’s bowling attack was on fire, led by Shaheen Afridi and Rishad Hossain, who claimed 3 wickets each, dismantling the Karachi batting line-up.

This win comes as a strong statement from the defending champions as they bounce back in style, while Karachi Kings are left to reassess after a heavy defeat.
