Quetta Gladiators registered their fourth win in Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 with a historic 10-wicket victory over Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
After being asked to bat first, Multan Sultans collapsed to just 89 runs in 17 overs. Their innings started with disaster as Khurram Shahzad removed both openers Yasir Khan and Usman Khan in the second over. He returned to strike twice more in his next over, dismissing Kamran Ghulam and Curtis Campher to leave Multan reeling at 20/4 in just 3.5 overs.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan tried to rebuild, scoring a fighting 44 off 30 balls, but found no support from the other end. Faheem Ashraf chipped in with two wickets, including the dangerous Michael Bracewell, while Mohammad Wasim Jr and Ubaid Shah wrapped up the innings with timely breakthroughs. Multan were bowled out for 89 — their second-lowest PSL total.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators chased down the target without losing a wicket, reaching 90-0 in only 7.1 overs. Finn Allen led the charge with a powerful 45* off 21 balls, smashing two sixes and four boundaries. His partner, Saud Shakeel, played a fluent knock of 42* off 20 balls.
The pair made full use of the powerplay, reaching 74-0 in just six overs and comfortably finishing the chase with 79 balls to spare — making it Quetta’s biggest ever win by wickets and balls remaining in PSL history.
With this commanding performance, the Gladiators showed excellence with both ball and bat and continued their strong campaign in PSL 10.
